Privacy Policy

Short version: this site is built to need as little of your data as possible. No account, no advertising identifier of ours, no analytics cookies — and the numbers you type into calculators are never sent to us.

Your calculator inputs stay in your browser

Every calculation on this site runs locally on your device. Salaries, balances, home values and everything else you enter are not transmitted to our servers, not stored, and not visible to us in any form.

What we do collect: anonymous usage counts

We run our own first-party analytics to understand which pages are useful. For each page view we record: the page path, which section of the site it belongs to, the referring site's domain (never the full address), a coarse screen-size bucket, the country Cloudflare reports for the request, and — for calculator pages — whether the calculator was actually used.

To count visitors without identifying anyone, we store a one-way hash built from a secret, the current date and connection details. It cannot be reversed into your address or device, and because the date is part of it, the same visitor produces an unrelated value every day. There is no profile that accumulates.

• No analytics cookies and no cross-site tracking, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.
• Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honored — with either enabled, the analytics beacon does not run at all.
• The only thing stored on your device is your light/dark theme choice, if you set one.

Infrastructure

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses as part of operating a CDN and provides us aggregate request counts. Cloudflare's own handling is described inits privacy policy.

Email

If you email us, we receive what you send and use it to reply and to fix whatever you reported. We do not add you to lists or share your address.

Advertising

The site may display advertising in the future. Ad networks typically use their own cookies and identifiers under their own policies. If and when ads go live, this policy will be updated first to name the network and describe exactly what changes, and any consent requirements that apply will be implemented before the first ad is served.

Children

The site is general-audience reference material and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.
